Hello Guys:

Let's test to see who's the best OPENSERVE ISP:

Test: Download from international site
URL: http://appldnld.apple.com/ios10.2.1...5B5B9D/iPadPro_12.9_10.2.1_14D27_Restore.ipsw

My test:
ISP: Axxess
Account: CAPPED
Result:

I don't mean the derail your thread and I thus apologise beforehand.

I can show you the best of both worlds using an Axxess capped account. I found their network superb during business hours (off-peak) but from 7pm to 11pm (peak hours) the network was, to put it politely, terrible. I'm not sure whether this was limited to the Western Cape region or what, but my woes with customer service ended up to be so frustrating that I cancelled my service and left Axxess :(

I'm in the process of switching over to Cool Ideas ISP, but they're apparently having issues "ordering" the line from OpenServe.

My fibre line was transfered back to Telkom / OpenServe after cancellation, 2 months ago (!), and has been dormant ever since. I'm back on 4Mbit ADSL while I wait... :(

Needless to say I'm growing incredibly impatient.

Yeah dealing with Openserve is like pulling teeth, drop me a PM if it needs escalating.

I have been having that issue for the past 3 months. I will start a thread which showcases about 20 screenshots, comparing the guest account too, various configs that axxess has suggested. Nothing changed. Plus they are now ignoring me completely when it comes to resolving this. Thinking of going through cool ideas as well.

Yep and they can do their own test in their own area to see what works for them the best If they want to. But most people don't know you can as the ISPs don't want you to know you can switch accounts on Openserve and test for your self. I was told you have to switch OTNs to move to another ISP. That is not the case.

Not sure who said you need to change ONTs, it is every network other than OS that you need to reconfigure the line to use another ISP.

MWEB and WebAfrica both told me that. And other users stated the same if you go read on my testing thread.
