It's been dead all day & I got replies that only a moron would think is acceptable. Five o'clock on the nose & everything works again. Absolutely unacceptable.

For me, it was more like 17:30 before I go it any form of internet back. Browsing is fine now, but NNTP is practically dead.

Terrible P2P speeds the entire weekend. Slightly better this evening, but speeds are very inconsistent. Worst weekend for P2P downloading I EVER experienced with OW in a 6 month period. Let's hope it was the Microsoft and Apple updates that caused this!

P2P receives the lowest priority on the network as it can simply drain bandwidth.

As the network is still quite busy currently, we foresee shaping being released later tonight.

May I suggest you schedule the downloads so that it runs to completion. As soon as the network quietens down, it will finish quite quickly.

It's been running for almost 8.5 hours and its only done 350MB out of 700MB. Network must be REALLY busy?

That does not explain the non existent browsing experience for ALL of today. No downloads were running at all.

The good news is your throttling days are over, and after hours and weekends you are in for a treat.
The bad news is that daytime is slow.

Good luck ....

We received one today of MrBEEP is a speedo.

I immediately deleted the message!

On a serious note, I believe he is well relaxed and should be back on Monday. I will however still be around, as MrBEEP will be placing alot of focus on some development items we are working on.

He will be around though.

Any holiday pics from Mr. Beep?? :D:D

Depends on where you are and how busy the network is though. My daytime speeds are acceptable, even updates and FTP downloads run ok most of the time at about half speed. P2P runs well after hours and weekends.

I also joined recently and am very happy so far.

Had an issue but it was my fault in the end.

@cableguy Have the servers been busy tonight? Noticed NNTP only came alive around 21h30. Browsing & streaming has been moderately perfect. (Will send a PM if the problem persists.)

Lucky you. We generally can't use the service in any SHAPE or form during daytime; GMail, YouTube, basic browsing all unusable during daytime. We (me and the SO) have come to live with it, for the time being, and alternate between a capped account with another ISP. Not ideal, but I love the after hours unshaped uncapped portion.

Diablo 3 is completely not working today, menu loads but as soon as you try and enter game you get a loading screen and then kicked out after a minute.
