getting some super high latency on first hop outside my network.

Looks like an issue at your exchange. If you've never had congestion problems before it may just be a temporary fault.
 
Getting full 20Mbps now that my line is upgraded to 40Mbps, pretty solid :D

Telkom probably hosts an Exchange inside your basement.....
 
The past two weeks I've only been running at half speed and connection was intermittent. I even tried rebooting my router with no luck. I've got a 2MB Gold Uncapped account and not used to getting such insanely slow speeds on weekends. I know that these accounts are shaped during the day, but even after hours it's ridiculously slow.

Any thoughts or insights OpenWeb staff?
 
This is my experience.
I cannot blame OW now, because I have, in my case, now got different issues. I see slow-downs, and when one of these occur, the router will be disconnected from the logical side i.e. the ADSL remains synched through all of this.

I don't know what the problem is at this stage, but I know Telkom is to blame partially!
 
This is getting tedious. OpenWeb account (GOLD!) useless. All other ISP test accounts flying. Perfect. Nothing wrong. This is very dissapointing. Let me guess...OpenWeb is going to give me a new username/pwd and it will be fixed again? Have had this happen 4 times now and its getting old. I will PM my username to you CableGuy; please sort this out. The problem is definitely not my side.

When's MrBeep back from his jolly so things can start getting back to normal ? Mind you - my speeds were pretty decent over the weekend I must admit.

this being a feedback threat , here is my feedback : I would not recomend openweb to anyone . Support useless and accounts keeps on having problems .

Its going to happen a lot more as long as you are with openweb . and support is going to argue with you every time that is your side
 
Look - I try hard not to complain about everything - but my patience is wearing thin, over the last 3 or so weeks things have seriously deteriorated. Over the weekend, things were OK, but now it's almost 8PM, i seriously doubt many businesses are still running, but look at my speed. I'm on a 4MB Silver.... This is NOT what I signed up for.
