For those who pay by other means than debit/credit order. Taken from OW terms page.

"Subject to 8.3 and 8.4 below, 10 (ten) days’ notice for all users using other methods of
payment, given before the 27th day of the month before the last month for the provision of
the service (i.e given on or before the 17th day of the last month of service) ."
 
Mood vastly different...

Been an OW client for 4 years, but I haven't been here in a long time, and WOW, have the mood changed.

It was always... OW is the greatest blah...

Now it's... OW are scoundrels...

What happened?

Is there a link to the shared accounts revelation? (as I have no idea what the story is)

Thanks for the info.

Did not have time to read all, but since my (real-life) nickname is "HondseGedagtes", I guess it's in order to say that in the very least to some extent some proponents of the persistent attacks on OW might in the very least perhaps possibly conceivable have an ulterior or duplicitous motive... or something to gain from it... perhaps... possibly... like promotion for a new ISP or enticing an en masse switchover of clients... perhaps... maybe... (hehe)

Be that as it may (even with all the "perhapses")... account sharing is underhanded and unforgivable!

Hey my first post had to join on in this thread,so im currently on the 4MB Business unshaped that was on special for R699

I was on a 1mb gold for about 2 years had good service for a 1mb

I then upgraded last month to titan 4mb,since this was my first time going 4mb,but realised it was a very poor package at times worse than what my 1mb was! so I took the plunge in going the business 4mb( so fast ull smile all day) lol really? It was good for one day,the day i got it.

Im not a high user of cap i almost never download.. i do stream online,but once a week at most for f1 pre shows and it doesn't even handle 240p it keeps buffering my 1 mb ran better !! had me thinking what i read on this thread about shared accounts..

i got the package almost 2 weeks ago,..already had dns problems contacted them they reset my port got it back working...

i see sybertiger u are on this..how is ur package still??..and MR Bleep please help me out here. i spoke to leon and nothing is being done,i get quick responses but nothing thereafter..im in cape town is mtn backbone having problems should i wait it out,what is going on??? Shared accounts going on or what lol

Wrong
My account was being shared. I was at my wits' end and I was offered an opportunity to trial a new ISP.
I took up the trial offer and it solved my problems so I kicked the good Doctor on his backside.
