If you got an account during a special, you don't have access to the CP, apparently. If you've got a standard account, you can access the CP through openweb.co.za.
That can't be right. I've got a special a/c too & I've got CP details.

It was in one of the very first emails you get afaik.

Yeah, I didn't get details when I signed up last year and when I asked about it I was told special accounts don't get access to the CP.

Hey Friends,

We are not complete with the transfer of current clients to the new system. It is taking quite some time.

If you would like to fast track the process, please email [email protected] with your ADSL username, and request access to the new CP :)

Hi bobopenguin,

This is definitely not normal. Please email [email protected] and include your ADSL username. We will investigate for you

I just moved to an OpenWeb Silver 4Mb Uncapped account after problems with afrihost and webafrica (and signup problems with mweb who didn't seem to want my business) and i have to say i am very impressed!! Activation was almost instant and am getting close to full speeds during business hours and after consistently full speed! Outstanding! Keep up the good work :)

My conn can still like to misbehave...

International speed test: 4MB Gold.

Test conducted on Mon Oct 01 2012 09:31:17 GMT+0200 (South Africa Standard Time)

Download Speed: 136 kbps (17 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 395 kbps (49.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 211 ms

It is the last straw. I have cancelled.

1mbps my side.

Goodbye and good riddance to 384 'broadband.'

Let's just hope this upgrade doesn't mean people are going to download like greedy grubs and cause the rest of us to suffer severe shaping policies in the next few months.

Wow, since getting 1mb my international speeds have been pathetic. Local goes full-speed, but this is international;

Was better when I was on 384. Had to use MyBB speedtest as Speedtest.net couldn't even load.

I'm assuming this isn't normal?

EDIT: 4meg Gold.

The line became unusable, now using a backup Axxess account. Not very happy right now.

Just got an automated response acknowledging my ticket, but still no official reply. International is barely usable at this point. :(
