Downstream seems very eratic as pages sometimes load fine and other times have a long delay before loading. Can't stream video at all...
*edit* OK there seems to be a problem and Openweb is aware of it and working on it. Very helpful and efficient call centre, thanks Openweb. That is a rare thing in this country.

Same issues here. I went through the same process's and I'm glad to know that OpenWeb is working on the problem :)

Based on the last few tickets, I believe I have found yours.

I am currently connected to your account and its running at around 1.74Mbps on average. I would suggest following Leon's instruction, as he has performed a reset for you

Friends 2Mbps running at 0.4Mbps according to Speedtest. VERY slow browsing.
 
Is the issue still ongoing?

I do know that there is quite a large Telkom failure in KZN that is causing quite a few issues

Except youtube, almost all video streaming sites are ****ing slow :mad: Also my connection randomly gets borked every midnight :(

My internet problems came right after 5pm. All is running smooth in my part of KZN :)
 
Anyone else having a sluggish experience tonight? Websites take longer than usual to load, Youtube keeps buffering on 360p, etc.
 
Hi MrBeep. I'm still having major issues trying to watch twitch.tv streams. Last week I could 720p no problem. Now I'm lagging on 240p. Can you confirm if it happens on your side too? I love the account I'm currently using otherwise, its only twitch that isnt working.

Same.

Speedtests are fine though. Must be some type of routing issue.
 
Web browsing is painfully slow :( It randomly happens a lot at night. It takes a long time to load a simple webpage like google.com. It's been like this for the last 3 weeks. Somestimes it can be temporarily fixed by resetting my 3 year old router. I never had this kind of problem with MWEB before moving to Openweb.

Yes, it happens on my side :mad:
 
It was identified that Twitch themselves are having issues.

We have done various tests using different ADSL networks, including 3G, and Twitch all round is experiencing bad performance levels
