Hi Dazzla,

Are you a mind reader? Or have you bugged my office? I'm watching you!

On a serious note, we are busy with a new set of Bonded products on the capped side to start with, and they are indeed VERY exciting. More I cannot say except the famous saying: "Stay tuned!"

Mr. Beep when can we expect a cheaper bonded ADSL solution from Openweb? I am asking because I am one of those home users that can never get more than 2MB/s line speed because I am too far from the exchange. I would love to get 4MB/s speeds with two telkom lines and pay the price but the extra R999 for just a measly 30GB is high. Can't a shaped solution be made? We pay for the setup so why is it so much more expensive than a normal 4MB line with an uncapped account? If that amount were dropped by half with an uncapped account I will probably pay for it.
As you know the only possibility of getting faster speeds is if I sell my house and move closer to the exchange, but that's not gonna happen.

While I also work from home and can attest to the pretty bad daytime speeds on everything even gaming (I have no problem doing torrents etc after hours , its perfectly fair ) . Also after a port reset on the account from OW support it was fine for a few days , so add me to that list :P

However once 6pm comes round my line makes this whooshing sound as it hits full speed on everything :D

Morning update, speeds seem to be back to normal now, whatever was changed, thank you :)

Damn my Gold Uncapped account is sluggish as all hell this morning!

I am in the Durbanville area. Please sort it guys.

Kindly PM me with your ADSL username so that I can take a look.

Telkom are having alot of exchange issues today, which will definitely cause issues across the country.

MrBEEP, I hate to keep going over support's head since they've been extremely helpful but I just don't feel like I'm getting anywhere and I'm at my wits' end. If I can't game on my gamer's king account I may as well go back to vanilla. Could you please have a look at my account again? I'll PM you the details.

Similar issue, have raised a ticket awaiting on a response. Also here in Durbanville.

Leon furnished me with an account on another network and it seems much better so far. Fingers crossed!

That is good news I hope. Will definitely stay tuned since bonded is the only solution for me to get a faster line speed.

MrBeep,

My issue has returned even after you reset the account for me. Please see the associated tracert to www.openweb.co.za

The internet is completely unusable at the moment. It has taken my 30 minutes just to try to upload and post this...
