I guess this is going to be the 3rd week in a row that streaming will be heavily shaped during daytime. I'm not downloading anything at all :(

Same here, really don't expect to get 10Kb/s on a gold 1 meg account. I mean what's the point of paying so much for gold if these are the speeds I'm getting for weeks now, but as soon as it hits 18:00 full speed :/

The ironic thing is that I haven't had this issue with the Vanilla Uncapped account. Essentially, these are starting to look like after hours accounts.

Internet is unusable on my 4mb gamers account , anyone having the same problem?

I am having constant issues with streaming, even during weekends. That includes Hulu, BBC iPlayer and other streams. Only Youtube seems to work more or less consistently.

Looking at the bandwidth used while streaming, my account should be able to handle multiple streams at the same time, yet I still get extremely annoying buffering happening.

What options do I have MrBeep? Can you shed some light on the issue? I can't imagine upgrading my line would do any good. Maybe another account type?

The rest of the account has been performing pretty well most of the time, which I appreciate.

Having the exact same issue, been complaining for 3 weeks now, opened support tickets, had my account changed twice and still no joy.

Last few days with Openweb.

Gold accounts are useless for anything except browsing in the daytime, but nobody at Openweb ever acknowledges this, they just say its our imagination. Glad to see some people speaking up here

That is not what I am saying. Everything else works, including gaming and Youtube, and I am on a lesser account. It is just streaming from other sources that seems to suffer.

Just tested Youtube again at 720p without buffering.

It's an account issue. I think the shaper doesn't wanna leave me. I emailed support an hour back and no response yet. I have resorted to a capped account.

EDIT: Got a response saying nothing is wrong

PM MrBeep. They might be seeing anything wrong on their side, which means it might be a Telkom or routing issue or something.

Seems like a routing issue because support says the account is working fine on their side.
