the real reason for your move is that your OW ISP's cant provide the service any more .... !!
They have issues, they claim !



Never at home during 8 -5 PM, however the account runs at a fraction of the speed during those periods. Which is not too bad, 200 - 300 kB/s

I have cancelled my gold account though as I am moving to standard uncapped
 
Normally I wouldnt get involved, but right now I have had it. Go lay a complaint at Hellopeter, sue OW on Monday, but stop going on and on and on and on here, you not only have your very own thread to rant on, but decide to do the same here.

You had a bad experience, and I get that, but this isnt just your thread alone, and you actually ruining the thread for others (or providing a few good laughs)

I have over 10 accounts with OW, and barely ever a problem. When i contact support, its sorted out quickly. Not everyones had a bad experience.
 
agreed with Bradley, so far an OW customer since Feb.

Cant comment on their customer support as i have never had a need to request that. My account works fine
 
I totally agree Bradley. This guys really has no life. He hammers on and on about the same thing. The fact is, no matter what he says, the only reason why he is acting in such a childish manner is because Mrbeep booted his ass because he swore at openweb staff.

It is clear that this guy has quite a few issues to deal with within himself, and sad that he is allowed to deal with them on here. We are all so sick of Blankoke, that everytime I come on here, I develop a puke that was last seen on the Cobra at Ratanga junction.

Well back on topic, my account is going amazingly. Streaming 1080p video at 60fps from the UK. Gold 4meg.

Awesome sauce.
 
I've been experiencing 50% of my line speed since 7pm last night on the Vanilla uncapped package yet I've hardly downloaded much during the day. I tried my Afrihost 1gig account and same speed so now I've laid a complaint to Telkom. It's every afternoon between 7pm and 12 midnight that this occurs.
 
Why must mrB even answer your email? He told you to go away, just like we are telling you to go away.

We are not being fed any lies. My account, as I said 3 times already (with you we have to repeat everything it seems) is working as it should. Customer service is fantastic. The company is quick to admit there is a problem when there is one, and the CEO himself is the rep on mybroadband. That in itself is impressive. Be glad that the CEO even gave you the time of day. Try contacting Telkoms ceo and see how far you get. You are just a spoilt little brat that had his sweety taken away from him because he spat at the teachers. Pox to you!

Fine i will get off of "OpenWeb's ADSL Feedback Thread", seems that some OW Users like getting fed lies and do not want to have others hear about proven facts of Contract Breach.... Maybe you are one of the under the table "Platinum Account Special Users"

What you all don't know is that i sent a mail to your Friend and Fav ISP CEO aka MrBEEP, I have asked him the same questions.

I gave him a day to respond before i moved on, as i told him i would.
 
You weren't happy with a service, service is cancelled, move on, stop being a child about this. If you spent your life hammering every nail that upsets you, it's a life wasted.

I dont have a problem with you giving feedback, but what you are doing now is far beyond just giving feedback, you are lashing out.

And no, im not on platinum, in on an amazing silver account.

How can you compare a OW with Telkom? Maybe the CEO is a one man show.
 
I actually forgot what this "argument" is all about. Honestly, you had a bad time with OW, so what? You canceled and left them. Why still **** them on on the forum? Everyone else enjoys their service, if we didn't like what we're getting we would cancel just like you.

Please GTFO this thread.

Nope. I have spoken to at least 6 different OW staff. And, if that sexy lady I spoke to last Friday was MrB, I take my hat, (and probably my pants) off to the man. DAMN she was fine (on the phone).

I think I am going to develop a fake problem (like Blankokes) on Monday just to be able to speak to her again!

To me there is nothing sexier than a woman that can get all technical about uploads and downloads. I would reformat my harddrive for her!

hi mrbeep, its better but very erratic speeds. one moment 100kb/s the next 200kb/s etc.

there's a speedometer on my download manager an its working like a revv counter at this stage...
 
You sure the faults not on your side? I have never had an issue with my Openweb account on a weekend. Right now its maxing, (more than maxing) my line

Hi MrBEEP. Sent you a PM. I'm experiencing 400kb/s download speeds over multiple download streams (Local Linux ISO download, steam, international downloads). I should be on a 6 meg gold uncapped account, but it feels like I'm on a 4meg account. Coudl you please be so kind and investigate? I have a 10meg line syncing with the dslam at 10meg. And as mentioned, 6 meg gold uncapped. Thanks!
