International has been funny for me the entire week, not only at home but at the office too. Are there any cable issues I'm not aware of?
 
I had to go through some major troubleshooting a little while ago with OW and EA-Games due to some serious lack of performance whilst playing Battlefield 3 on PS3 platform.

During this whole process it transpired from the local EA support that the majority of EA Online BF3 servers are hosted in the UK.
I had to track my international pings and do traceroutes to UK servers as part of the problem investigation.

As far as I am aware, there are no hosted BF3 servers on the PS3 platform within South Africa.

was talking about mw3 and i suspect its all overseas for that as well....

MW3 is p2p bud. No servers. So it's largely dependant on the hosts connection your connection and the connection of the people you're playing against.
 
MrBeep, Is the support call centre up and running on weekends? I convinced a friend to register today for a Gold account, as he is getting his line installed tomorrow morning. He doesn't have a telephone number yet so support told him to sign up using a specific dummy number as the telephone number.

Will this account work on the dummy number tommorow? or will he be stranded without access until next week, until the call centre is active again in order for them to update it to his correct telephone number?

is anyone else experiencing severe slowness on international HTTP? google image searches timing out and the max i can get out of my browser is around 20 odd KB/s with trying to open websites. 2mb silver uncapped

MrBeep: The trial account you gave me last weekend was perfect for the 4 days I had it, everything worked as it should. Since Tuesday I've been back to my normal account and problems are back. Just trying to check if what I mentioned above is my account again or being experienced by others as well.

It will work with the number we provided him with.

Telephonic support is not available on the weekends.

Mine was installed and half an hour later the adsl was activated and I could use the internet...miracles do happen

Live RTMP streams still getting butchered on 4MB Gold in office hours. :( They burst and then get throttled down to nothing. Burst and throttle. Burst and throttle. Painful to watch.

Whereas they play perfectly on my Afrihost back up account.
 
Aaah nice all I need on a weekend.

3 weeks after resolving an issue regaeding syncing and telkoms brilliance, the problem hit me again today, not sure when it went down, but phoned about hour and a half ago, but boggorol still waiting for a reference number.

So much for a funfilled unshaped weekend, at least more bandwith for you okes

Is there a problem with the Gamer King accounts at all tonight? It works for about 30 minutes and then loses all responsiveness for about 5 minutes and then resyncs and everything works fine for another 30 minutes. MrBEEP, could you please check out my account for any problems?
 
No there are no issues.

It sounds like your line is losing sync / or similar.
