My line is very on and off today. a 10meg pdf took me 30min to get. News server are just about dead. Local sites seem to open fine but international is slow.

Indeed, but I want to replay the Mass Effect series and this is the easiest way to get them without buying the whole series + DLC all over again.
Haven't been on here for a while. Just wanted to pop-in and say my ADSL's been great the past 3 weeks or so.
Awesome speeds overall and I'm now getting the kind of performance on torrents that I was expecting from all the hype.
Good torrent speeds start at about 17:00, and it's even usable earlier, if you urgently need something that's not too big.
And nntp and streaming speeds are fantastic too, natch.

This was done about 30min ago on my 4MB Uncapped Gold (Original)
Not great right? So I figure I would eliminate 90% of the trouble shooting by buying a 1GB Capped Vanilla account.
This is the Speedtest result of that....
So, my theory is that I have eliminated my router, line and exchange as an issue.
Oh, also downloading via NNTP off the IS news server has very similar results.
This was done about 30min ago on my 4MB Uncapped Gold (Original)

Soooo...using the MyBB speedtest:
Vanilla Capped - 0.34Mbps
Gold Uncapped - 1.16Mbps
So to sum up.....I have proved nothing.

LMAO. I actually had a line fault in Feb. Post a tracert to myBB, if the 2nd hop is 40> you have a problem.
Speedtests are inaccurate at the best of times. We do not like using them as they really do not show anything.
