Has the network returned to green status yet?
Been on Skype all night. 7am hit and now I can't even connect to groups :(
10Mbit Gold. Was running like a beast until 7am this morning.

This morning the network is throbbing again. Very very busy!

Western Cape area again is very busy.

This should be much better once Telkom install the extra IPC. We are pushing them to hurry up!

The rest of the country is busy but not critical.

Noticed it too this morning :)

Normally where I get full speed on local links it was being shaped heavily. Great news about the added capacity, it couldn't come sooner :D

Please could you give me more info in the Love Edition Package -

Expected shaping, FPU etc, times I can expect unshaped downloads (http - not p2p) etc

To be honest: I received great email support on the eve of a public holiday, well into the night and my account is up and running... Not sure if I could justify the extra spend given that everything was resolved 100% and in very reasonable time.

I'm smiling.

Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering why YouTube was crawling this morning. Much more usable right now :)

Does the Eastern Cape route via Western Cape, and are we directly affected by that region?
 
Yes it does.

When I refer to the Western Cape, it includes the Eastern Cape as well

Lucky you have slow interwebz. My connectivity comes to a grinding halt after 7am and starts between 5 & 6 pm.

Somewhere Telkom is stuffed cause my upstream connection keeps on syncing every 30 to 60 seconds.
 
Is there a problem with video streaming? All other speeds fine after 5pmon my Gold account but video streaming which used to be seamless has started to buffer like crazy over the last 3 days no matter which time of day.....
