Hope Openweb will match what TI has to offer on the table after the mass upgrades. Because if they can't, then I will definitely make a switch to TI in a heartbeat to save money and enjoy the awesomeness of a 4Mbps line at the same time.

these free upgrades is actually cusing me more stress than usual. to utilize the extra capacity i have to now fork out money. rock and a hard place i tell you. and the other value proposition is attractive. but im also happy with OW. farkit.

You could leave your account as it is and pay exactly the same amount if you don't want to upgrade (but I don't think you want to do that)

exactly. got to agree with murdoch. you need 4 mb to stream comfortably i find. the 2 is not good enough. to have it there and not utilize it would be..you guessed it
I have my line at 4MB and my uncapped account at 2MB (I can just hear Murdoch "****ING RETARDED) but I'm able to stream 720p on Youtube. Speedtests show my speed at around 2.4-2.6MB, downloads run at around 300kB/s.
Okay maybe its not soooo retarded.....

i will wait to see what happens after the upgrade speedwise before i decide. like a day.So my internet has been down for the past 4 hours. I have phoned Openweb 5 times and they keep on telling me the technician will phone me back in a few minutes... not happening. I can't even get an idea of how long this issue will take to be resolved. (not to mention that OW won't tell me what's wrong).
This is an office-line and I am falling behind and losing business. Please fix ASAP!!!

Is your router syncing? Might be Telkom upping your speed to an unstable sync rate.
Telkom has done their testing. The problem is with OW. My backup Afrihost account is working fine.

No ways I want it stay this way. On the odd days my downloads run at line speed. Fixiong it would "break it"

Everyday Uncapped will be unshaped if the network is quiet, however Gold and Platinum will take priority over the Everyday package.
