OpenWeb IS ADSL Prices Reduced Again!!

So, let me get this straight...

When I've finished using my international bandwidth up, and have now begun using my local bandwidth through your proxy, can I:

(1) Browse, google stuff, check your hotmail, etc, etc, etc... ?
(2) Download from a normal http link, using only the browser(no download accelerator)?
(3) Will I be able to stick that link in flashget or any other download accelerator, & download it like that?

It's 12:1 - 256k With backup bandwidth to handle congestion. So speeds hardly ever degrade.

We have had extensive beta testing with many different contention ratios, and this setup works the best.

Okay so once I've used my cap, the remaining 27GB on open browse can't be used for local torrents and local dc++ like zahub?
 
Whenever you want to download local torrents, files, anything local, just disable the proxy settings on your PC, and away you go :) OpenBrowse is only needed when you want to do international.

Please don't get me wrong! I'm not trying to harras you or anything. Its just that I need to have all the answers because everybody is in a 1 November anti telkom frenzy.

@MrBeep: Why dont your'll just disable download managers/accelerators? Your'll know that the multiple threads that these create are the majority of the downloading pressure on the system. Thats the system we use at my company. HTTP Browsing & downloading (using IE/FireFox/etc.) work fine. The minute you try using any app. to download, the proxy asks for authentication. Which no one has. What you think?

My apologies in advance, as I dont know how practical this actually is. Tho if it isnt, please can you explain why...

Any indication of whether streaming audio (http:80) will be allowed when capped using OpenBROWSE?

other access details apart from the ADSL access details.

Alongside your account order, you will receive a OpenBROWSE proxy username and password, and setup instructions.

You only activate the proxy when you are capped, and want to surf international sites :)

Let say I have a standard 3 Gb ADSL account with u and I only need
openbrowse when I get capped international.how much will that cost, or do you offer that package on its own.

Ok,

That will cost R249 for OpenBROWSE 128k after capped,
and R262 for OpenBROWSE 192k after capped.

These prices include the 3GB account! :)
