Openweb, that bad?

I also signed up for the free 1GB, figured its free so why not.

Got super tired of the dailystats, emailed them and asked them to disable the daily stats - their response was that they were unable to as it was a free account and that option is not available on a free accounts and only on premium accounts.

I then asked them to cancel it, although despite it being a free account still requires a months cancellation period. WTF.
So account has been canceled and am still getting the dailystats. WTF.


Not even worth getting the free 1GB OpenWeb account.

I'm seriously not experiencing any of the issues you guys are talking about. Sure, half a year ago there was a grim 2 week period of trouble, but since I joined up with them like two years ago, my Internet has been fine. Perhaps its just the low end accounts (whats it, Titan) that gives low end performance. Meh

No, it's not just the low end accounts. There have always been some happy people, on lower and higher end accounts.

Are you at home during the day?
 
I'm well aware of the daytime problems. When I'm on leave I cant play on xbox live, which is a real boner killer. During the day all I can do is browse and stream. But, 99% of the time I'm at work during the day, so it doesn't bother me.

That's more than likely why you're happy - you don't have to put up with the daytime issues, which are still happening as per posts, HelloPeter, etc.
 
Perhaps then if they advertise their uncapped accounts as after work hours bliss accounts, less people would bitch
 
Well, apparently they upgraded capacity by 30%. We'll see if that made a difference. Perhaps there is hope in their reputation recovering.

Yet we had Titan, Vanilla, Silver, Gamer's King, Gold, Gold Leon, Gold Orange, Gold Love... all claiming different tiers of priority, yet countless examples of lower tier accounts outperforming higher tier accounts especially during hours, high tier accounts coming to a grinding halt during hours, etc. etc.

I'm sure you know about it all, you've been around here long enough.
