Test with Axxess 30Gigs, ping perfect, but, can 43% data loss affect p2p?

Ping results for last hop before account switches to ISP's hardware (Hop 2 on Tracert)

the high packet loss is saying something is wrong, when was the last time you checked your pots filters(those filters you use to split the dsl and telephone line)?
also, do you have a spare modem, if yes plug in and test again.

Thanks, how exactly do you test the pot filter? Disconnected modem from it, removed the phone line from filter, connected back, for 30 seconds P2P shot to 300 kBs, held my breath..., and then it dropped back to 30...

Thank you all, finally some real advise and not just grammar and spelling lessons. No, i am not a troll, i had real problem with OW customer service, was awful first, but then proper conversation with a manager took place, which left me with the positive aftertaste, although did not solve my problem. The fact is that my p2p was exactly as bad on Telkom uncapped, Telkom capped and OW, while on all 3 my browsing and streaming were very good. Speed test nearly always 3.2 Mbps and above (on 4Mbps line), local ping 12, international around 200.
Now I used programm recommended here and that is what I get:
"Line running perfectly, average ping 20"
But my torrents are max 60kB/s now (1 am), on Telkom uncapped, capped and OW, no difference. S/L ratios on these torrents 3-5, 7 sometimes. Just several months ago it was 300+ always on Telkom, before I reach 200Gig or so, now I used 20 Gig per month and p2p 10 times lower. Any real advise, please do not comment on grammar, presentation style, etc.

Did you not read the grammar nazi's post?

You and all members that make reference to grammar are Grammar Trolls and should be banned

And as a side note, someone who comes onto mybb with almost no posts to throw mud at an ISP for bad service after a full 24hrs worth of testing should also be banned.

There is clearly something wrong with your line, you should not be getting packet loss on a healthy line. As mentioned earlier, check everything on your side (POTS filters, lan cables, routers, etc). If everything is fine on your side, log a fault with Telkom.

Your line seems terrible. That packet loss has nothing to do with Openweb.

Go to matrix and buy a new POTS filter. Get another test modem like a DSL2500u. Post router stats.

If you do all three and your line is fine, then blame your ISP. Not before.

Thank you very much agentrfr and DrJohnZoidberg for trying to really help.
Installed new router (Netgear Rangemax) - before was Netgear N750, brand new filter, new lan cable. Using 30G Axxess now, capped, unshaped, but P2P is the same, very very slow.
Tried VPN, UK address, P2P runs perfectly for 1 min, then dies again.
Tested almost 20 torrents, different sites, S/L 4.3 - 2.1
Speedtests are perfect, ping perfect, packet loss 3%,

Looks a lot better now.

I would test with something more consistent than P2P (which can vary a lot). Download something from a local site using a download manager, or run some local speedtest and post the results.

Try test something on usenet, or an actual linux torrent? See how that goes

@DrJohnZoidberg downloading works fine and speedtests are perfect. Axxess 30G works a lot better for P2P after the filter change, but still not full speed, around 120 kb/s on average.
@agetrfr, I have little knowledge of usenet or linux torrent, could you please post links?
Since the OpenWeb story is not an issue for me anymore, I think this thread needs to be cancelled and I will move to another one tomorrow or so. Thank you everybody who understood my problem and helped.

You must just remember the very nature of torrents and other p2p traffic is that it can very inconsistent at times.

Try this torrent, http://releases.ubuntu.com/13.10/ubuntu-13.10-desktop-amd64.iso.torrent and see what kind of speeds you get (this is the Linux torrent being referred too).

I hope I can find some help here.

I've been using Openweb for over a year now (1mb) and I have had a few problems but there were always sorted out shortly after e-mailing support. However this time it isn't the case.
My account is shaped during peak hours, and off-peak I get about 110kb/s. As of last weekend however I have been suffering with slow speeds. Off-peak I seem to be getting 10-20kb/s. I have tried multiple different websites as well as browsing, downloading, streaming, and p2p.
The strange thing is that the speed seems to go up to regular speeds for a few seconds occasionally but then returns to a snail pace, It also seems to run at full speed when loading a webpage, but not always. Downloading is no more than 20kb/s at any time of day.. Also, it seems to run at full speed whenever I run a speed test.

I contacted support, and after 4 e-mails they eventually understood what I was even trying to tell them. They said they would reset my connection. This has not helped. My internet is basically unusable.
I tried another adsl account and it is running at full speed . So the line seems fine.
