Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

Yeah, me neither. International browsing can be shoddy at times, but it's never been out like this. Just hope it's fixed by tomorrow.

I have tried different DNS settings .ie Google DNS - 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4...... also tried opendns 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220..... still same error.

Currently I am connected with my SAOL account with no errors or problems so this seems to be an Openweb problem??

I know there was a problem with the OpenWeb's DNS. I've been using Google DNS for over a year now.
Not sure how you still sit with that but best take an email to support.
 
I haven`t received any answer from Openweb support... I see on their website that email and sms support is supposed to be 24/7.....

Just checked my connection and it`s working again:

Anybody else on DSLHeaven having some issues ? Some websites take ages to load, or don't load at all. I've checked the WA thread and I see there is definitely some problems on WA's side. :(

Yeah, something's up. Erratic speeds. At least Youtube works :p

Same here also on DSL Heaven, it's very bad today. Had to switch to my backup account. Hope it gets sorted soon.

My 384 IS OW Gold is perfect, has been for yonks now. Flying as only 384 can.
I am in Plumstead, Cape Town.
 
Hi. I'm on IS backbone. Since Tuesday been having issues. Local sites load fast, most international sites are slow or just time out. Speedtest.net page loads but it wont load the actual speed test. After about 6pm the speeds seem to improve for a few hours and then it goes back to terrible speeds. I emailed Openweb and they said that there was a fault on the Telkom backbone. Haven't had these problems for months before now. Hopefully it gets sorted soon.
 
Cannot browse what so ever. Local and international sites time out constantly. OW Gold = Clogged Mweb Uncapped? Pretty disappointing for my second day.
 
DSL Heaven seems more or less OK now.

@Graal - bummer dude :\ VB seems to have problems *every* friday wheN I used it for a while.
