Openweb uncapped ADSL feedback

I'm also having problems with DSLHeaven on 4mbps gold uncapped.
Facebook failed to load images and css a few times, and browsing anything international is slow.

I would try with a backup if I could remotely login ;) cant get physical access
 
Anyone else on DSL-H having problems atm? Net died, restarted router and nets back up but everything is extremely slow.
 
@DSL-users: WebAfrica says there is a Telkom-network issue and they're awaiting a repair.
 
LOL good thing I came to check here, also on DSL-H, also problems on my side

Guess we'll just need to wait it out then :(
 
I came back to VB after some time in March. nntp was always fine but http crap. This time the experience has been back to what I experienced first time. May also have something to do with the fact that inbetween Telkom had been in to repair a line fault.

It's not too bad. NNTP is about on par with what I get with DSL-H, just tried out Youtube and it's usable, but DSL-H buffers it quicker in my book. HTTP is also very responsive. Haven't tried it with PSN again, because of the timeout errors previously I couldn't even stay logged onto PSN :(

Difficult to say if I'll go back to VB, if I don't encounter those timeout errors again and the performance stays good, I'll go back to VB, but overall I'm quite satisfied with my DSL-H account :)
 
Thanks guys. The DSL-H is really good for me on NNTP. The only problem I have is packet loss when gaming online as well as occasionally browsing problems. I do have a backup account for gaming though which works fine. Other than that I am still happy.

I use uncapped lite mainly at home but I'm at a friend with a gold account. Not so much gold happening though..
