Openweb Uncapped Feedback

Yeah please don't leave.
This has absolutely nothing to do with OW ie not their fault but OW is doing what they can for us to get us access.
The only reason why ie Mweb accounts have intl access is because MWeb bought access to SAIX for failover.

Yeh, I'm not apportioning blame or anything; its nearing the end of my varsity holiday, the only time I have to play online games, and all I can do is sit and browse. I really love openweb but if other ISPs are working then it's a simple decision.

MrBEEP, is it possible to order my Openweb account now, make payment now and set it to activate next month?

Getting frustrated now. Every time I try to connect to my OW account I get a "Username/password" fail. contacted OW yesterday, guy told me to switch off my router for half an hour, so I did. Nothing's changed.

So frustrating today. Been trying to download a 5meg patch for a game and says 45mins left ........
And all I wanna do is play WoW while waiting for Seacom, and I don't want to move to another ISP only good praises for OW.

Now can't even connect to the WoW server. wth :(
Any suggestions MrBeep ?

Work is suffering badly with Seacom's latest failure and so I am looking for alternatives to recommend to my boss.

I saw OpenWeb's "Seacom got you down?" ad and thought that might mean all their bandwidth is not reliant on Seacom; is that just for the business accounts or does it apply to shaped uncapped accounts too?

MrBEEP.

Just one question if you don't mind.

How come even local traffic is crawling? Seacom doesn't have any influence over local, does it? Even my local is basically on dial-up speeds.

Hi wolfza,

That applies to all our Platinum Uncapped accounts:

http://www.openweb.co.za/uncapped

It also applies to our R49 per GB Standard accounts.

However, last night, we secured enough bandwidth to cover Gold and Standard clients, so all folks should have some form of international at the moment on any account. :)

If you didn't get anything and your money is in order, just drop Mr Beep an email at admin@ ... co.za :)

Yep mailed proof of payment... Just waiting now.

edit: .... Got it :)
