In my case it doesn't seem to be Openweb related though, I tried my Afrihost account and couldn't even get Speedtest.net to run.

I know MrBEEP logged a fault with who-ever... hopefully its resolved :( Really wanna test my boxee box and see if its a potential to can dstv.

Mine is pretty much an issue with VB and has been since the start :)

I'll give mine a go again tonight...it might have just been an IS problem my side w.r.t. Afrihost, the account had been performing fine previously.

Good luck. Let me know how it goes. If this could be pinpointed to an issue with VB rather than a minority (read: superfluous) client issue then perhaps VB could remedy it \o/

From what I can tell my vb account has been going at 300kB/s+ the whole day.

But Lycan, over Jan and Feb and a part of March I was occassionally experiencing issues similar to what you are. And at times it would be across the whole spectrum, ie usenet, http and any other protocol that you would expect to be a full speed.

Spot on :)

I just hope it gets resolved.

Ok - just sent this to MrBEEP - it seems I have a nighttime problem:

was averaging a 100KB/s until 4am, then went to 200KB/s at 5am, 400KB/s at 7am and maintained +300KB/s speeds until 7pm and dropped down to 100KB/s. (newsgroups)

100K speeds here since Sunday/Monday... Mr Beep reset my port but to no avail... Wonder whats up?

Hi xrapidx,

Did you receive my solution?

Kind regards
MrBEEP

Hmmm... the @openweb account? Haven't tried it - I'll give it ago this evening.... seems the same thing happened last night... it dropped slow at night and then picked up at 5am... really odd.... its the reverse of daytime shaping :p

Have e-mailed Keoma for a solution :(
