Openweb Uncapped Feedback

Guys I am thinking of getting a new account if mweb does not get theire act together by end of the month. I currently have the 4mb uncapped shaped account with them. Openweb seems good, can anyone recommend me a uncapped package? Currently I do maybe 150gb to 200gb(paid news server) on mweb and I do play online mmo games as well. Will the uncapped gold 4mb be sufficient? Any problems with shaping? I can live with downloading only late at night but I need gaming to work with good lantencies.
 
go for openweb gold VB backbone, for the usenet downloads.

latency should be good, all round and speed almost full all day on vb.
 
Thanks heretic. How much do you average with downloads? Is there some threshold for shaping? Anything else I should be aware of?
 
Thanks, any of the down loaders that can give me an average? I don't want to download the entire internet but would like to be able to average at 200gb or so a month. Anyone with comment on gaming latencies as well?

I do 300+gb a month on 4Meg Gold IS, I can comment on my BFBC2 experience which is great on the local servers, played at almost any time of day/night with no real problems except if there was a line fault etc.

ps. Currently at 115gb for this month

I pay R899 per month for the after hours uncapped account. It's superb!!! Between 7pm-7am weekdays and all weekend this account runs at full line speed, in my case 10mb. Never noticed any shaping of any sort on any protocol although I don't use it for gaming or news servers. Torrents, file hosting websites ie hofile, megaupload, filesonic it runs at optimum. Consistently do in excess of 200gb a month. Hell over December I did 460gb without any issues what so ever...

These are the sort of numbers capable on this account with the right line...

I downloaded 400GB in April and have not been able to get more than 100KB/s in May yet.Don't know if I am being shaped but it definitely feels like it.On VB Gold uncapped 4MB
 
I'm on the 4mb OpenWeb Uncapped Unshaped deal for R496 pm. I average about 28 Gigs over a 10 day rolling period and so far I've never been throttled. My usage rating stays at 2 stars.

If that 4mb uncapped was R496 including the line I would have yelled: SING ME UP! :D

whats the international latency like on vb backbone, anyone can do some tests?
 
i have that issue where my nzb downloads are at 200kB/s+ but http is in the 30s.
