Hi All

are there any users on vodacom business 4mb uncapped ,the package offered by openweb?

i have been using for the last 3 days but am having some major speed issues and i am unable to get any straight answers out of vodacom/openweb

is this account in fact 4mb uncapped 24/7 as i am getting constant speed changes between 4mb and 1mb throughout the day, for a period it runs at 4mb then suddenly drops to 1mb for a while (anywhere from 1 to 2hrs) , this happens throughout the day and night , my understanding is that there is not suposed to be any throttling on this account

i have no issues with openweb personally and have always received great service from mrbeep but im just looking for answers hopefully from some other vodacom business users?

any comments out there

Hi - I know it's a little late for this reply - but you should expect shaping on your plan. First of all, this deal you've got is uncapped 3G - and where in South Africa are you going to get uncapped 3G that isn't shaped? Secondly - if you read OpenWeb's package details, they're utilizing SAT3 for this package deal - so, don't expect too much. it's a rip off actually - 3G speeds start at 3.5 - and the next level is 7.2 - and you're promised 4Mb but you're getting 1Mb? Blergh! What ***** is that? and you're paying R999 a month?

Hello,

Please email me: [email protected] so that I can investigate.

Kind regards

Open wbs slow speed

Hi there,

I have also been having a serious problem, with the speed of my Gold 4meg account.

Since i signed up i used to get about 380kbps throughout the day, but something happened in the last to weeks where my speed seldom reaches 380kbps and i get throttled down to between 10 - 20 kbps, which is basically dial up speeds.
I have been going back and forth and i am now at a point where, i will just go to another ISP.
