Hi guys, I'm not too clued up on the whole fibre situation currently as I've been happily potting along with my ADSL and din't feel a need to change or pay much attention to Fibre.
My situation has changed slightly now though, I am one of the Trustees of our body corporate and was approached recently by a company that's trying to get fibre installed in the complex next door to ours but in order to do this they need to go through us. Not only do they need to go through us but, to make it more viable for them to install the infrastructure, they want to run fibre to our complex and then on to the complex next door. No uptake minimum is required from us and no costs either as they will cover everything. They just want us to allow them to install infrastructure in our complex that will allow any of the units to take up fibre if they choose to do so, that way they double the amount of possible new signups I guess.
So my question(s) is (are), the supplier that sent the proposal is Dark Fibre Africa (DFA) and since I know nothing about fibre or the local providers I thought I would ask what the general opinion on them is and how good their service and pricing is. Does anyone have experience with them? Are they one of the better providers or one of thee not so good? Also, has anyone had experience or involvement with getting fibre installed directly in their complex/estate/etc.?
Hope that all makes sense, I have told the other trustees I will look into this on their behalf as most of them are on the other side of 50/60 and not to clued up with tech in general.

EDIT: Did some more googling and now see the provider is SA Digital Villages (SADV) so thoughts of them will also be appreciated.
