Ordered - https://za.ecoflow.com/

This does not look like a local site at all.

Guys... Please...

This just keeps happening that site you linked basically has nothing but add an item and pay.... This is how scams continue to operate...

How much did you drop?
That is their official ZA website.

Ecoflow.com is owned by Ecoflow, if you go to their main site and change country to South Africa you will be redirected to za.ecoflow.com. Nothing odd here.

Ok - so I'm on the line to the bank now ... but it seems to be ok ?

It says it has shipped according the tracking number (it didn't work correctly as above) . I'm happy to wait a few days / week - it's the months that I cannot do .

OP did not go this route...

Actually considered EcoFlow before I saw Jackery...

Hope you get sort though.

It's via Payfast - Ecoflow South Sandton

I ordered from them before, their communication is a bit lacking, but took about a week for it to arrive, granted this was before they were za.ecoflow.com. Previously they were ecoflow.co.za and za.ecoflow.com did not exist. ecoflow.co.za now also seems to redirect to za.ecoflow.com

Unless you really need something portable it would be better to get one of the "trolley" inverters

I looked at them and they're not bad - but I liked this for a few reason :

- R6,999.00
- Modular - add solar or extra battery
- Lithium batteries with fast charge
- Quality (I've never seen one - but many say a step above Gizzu/ Mecer)

And the geeky part of me liked the screen, WiFi and app control :P

The battery is tiny though

The EcoFlow River uses Lithium-ion batteries, which have a relatively short lifespan, 500 cycles to 80% capacity according their website.

What cheaper trolly uses better than lithium though ?

You can get the trolleys with lithium batteries as well and still cheaper than these ecoflow units
