The ANC will win in 2019 regardless of who wins this leadership race and regardless of the actions they take. That's why it's so critical that we at least get the lesser evil in position now.

If CR does win, I feel we may have a chance yet. Sure, not overnight - but steps in the right direction.

Do you not think that as the ANC; they have pushed the voters too far and thus they may simply abstain from voting in 2019?

Ignore him; even if we come back to this thread in 2019 and by some witchcraft the ANC lost; he will tell us we misunderstood him and he was still correct.

That's a luxury we can't all afford. When you're the sole breadwinner of a family with a 9 month old daughter who will enter the educational system under the presidency of whoever wins this week you have to be realistic.

A NDZ win will trigger the next wave of emigration, a wave I'd have to ride for the sake of the family.

Nope,....Memory, of the NATS...keeps the ANC base intact. Hence CR could rally and energise his base, by just getting the simple things right...eg, getting rid of all Zuma's men. A NDZ leadership would keep the status quo...and the base will say voetsek and stay away in 2019

No source, just like NarrowBand didn't have a source for his claims the ANC will win 2019. But its pointing in that direction, the entire slate of NDZ are corrupt so they'll buy votes as fast and as much as possible.

I'd love to agree with you but twitter is rife with NDZ supporters, its all about race and as long as the white man doesnt rule again. Who cares if we pay R2000 for a loaf of bread hey :)
 
Comfort bias: convincing yourself of the worst possible outcome so you won't feel bad if it happens.

Cyril is a favourite by number of delegates and market trends. Only scheming within the organisation can really stop him winning and I can't imagine he scheme back.
