I think she looks nice these days, she's come far from her days of awful fashion sense, it might just be your hatred towards her clouding your judgement or you just don't get the African fashion thing.

No, I think she looks like the devil. I am talking about her face. I couldn't care what clothes she wears. Her eyes give off a very sinister vibe.

On the other hand, such appointments can turn out to be good ones if you're putting someone in charge who's there to make sure financial responsibility is the order of the day. That's rarely the case with our government, but overseas there are people who are essentially cleaners who mop up messes and return ministries back to order, without needing specific experience in the ministry itself. Pravin Gordhan is one of the few people I know who might fit that bill.

On that note - could we say with some degree of certainty, that should CR take this win, ANC will be definitely hold on to power, come 2019?

It'll give this whole saga some form of finality at least. This is the litmus test for the ANCs resolve to save the country. If she wins, there's zero chance for their "self-recovery" that they so love harping on about. Even now, I feel it's too late to turn the country around. There's just been too much neglect in terms of infrastructure, that's going to come back to haunt the nation over the next decade or so.

I would say they would if his first actions were to start legal proceedings against all those implicated in the Gupta leaks.

if he wins, ANC wins 2019...yes Opposition parties can never compete against the history that is the ANC, it is ingrained in the very fibre of our society, you do not break that hold over a few elections....but you can with a leadership that only thinks about themselves...and leaves society to its own devices.
