OT: Help needed

I was browsing and my pc just rebooted. When I logged in again I couldn't access any sites using IE. I thought it might have been corrupted so I tried the repair option. Still no joy. I can browse with Opera (groan) and my email works but IE and messenger doesn't :( When I try to load a site it just says "page cannot be displayed". Urgh I'd probably have to reinstall IE.
 
did you check your internet options? it might have a proxy address or something changed? or taken off? cause you go through a router or something right?

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?
 
Aha! I see the "proxy server" was checked. That's not right. Thx noone, works like a charm now :)
 
whats wrong with opera??? i find it much faster, less bandwidth hogging and more user friendly than ie

Proud South african rip offs.
