Pastel Evvolution Single user Install

Looking at running pastel evolution,

I contacted sage and tried to by the product, I was contacted by one of their partners and quoted 35000(labour) for an install.

Thought that was a little crazy..

Anyone know if it can be installed ones self ?

Yes you can install it yourself, just the setup of the pastel is a PAIN in the arse. (Logos, address and all of invoices)
Server OS, SQL and Evolution all on one server, then client side install on machines that will be using pastel.
Cannot say for sure if there are hidden things that will need to be done.

Setup a VM and have a practice run first.

An install normally includes more than just plugging in the software: it involves setting up the general ledger / codes, helping transfer your data etc.

Its easy to do just a little time consuming that's all
