PC controller recommendations

Hey guys, so I'm looking to invest in a controller to game with on my PC.

Preferably:
  • Can do both wireless and wired
  • Price range below R500
  • Be of good quality
 
Your budget is the limiting factor in terms of quality here..

For your budget, you are only going to get Chinese and the known 'good' Chinese brands are Rapoo and redragon and even then they are both still more than 500bucks at normal prices..

Check carbonite if there are any Xbox or Logitech f710 controllers available for your budget..

Redragon, I can't complain about tbh. I've been using them for years. My keyboard, mouse and headset are Redragon too.

I did see a controller on special for R499. But it might be a bit too steep...

I got the Logitech F710 wireless a couple of months ago new for a touch over R500 (From Esquire although I don't see them on their site at the moment.)

I would just try to find an original Xbox360 controller.

I`ve got a Sparkfox wireless for years now & never had a day`s problem with it:), good built quality considering it`s price.
Hell it even fell of the desk a couple of times & yet it still going strong:thumbsup:

There's not one peripheral under 1k on my desk at the moment. The oldest is probably my corsair mechanical keyboard going almost 10 years. Sadly I had to replace my xbox one controller; basically death by glass of wine. In the end if the OP wants a mcd cheese burger over pub/restaurant gourmet, then that is fine too.

However, you can't beat quality.
