Period struggles.

Why are there so many dudes getting all torn up in here? Seems a strange topic for guys to have an opinion on?

Festivals all have porta potties and they all have a small sink.. take a bottle of water with you and whatever cleaning material you may need to use and clean it..

I don't understand what special place they need to do this..?
In the same way some people are okay with having a boskak, some people are okay cleaning in a dirty environment, others not.

Not if the opinion is just to listen to what woman are saying and try to accommodate the needs they have around menstruation when organizing things. Most of us who are heterosexual and who have had relationships will understand why it is necessary to do so. You'll probably find the main reason that woman who are menstruating aren't accommodated at festivals is because it's mostly men in charge and they just don't think about what it's like to be bleeding and to not have a private and hygienic area to deal with it. For most of us men, it's just not something we think about at all (other than joking about 'that time of the month') or we just don't think it's a big deal.

Yeah, from what I hear from my wife, there are no such thing as a clean public facility for women's bathrooms.. irrespective of what special place they are provided, it's likely to be dirty anyway..

What? I would love to see you have a period once a month.
I bet you would.. but then who's going to make me a sandwich?

Filthy womanses with their filthy habitses..

Doesn't sound like they're asking for much so I'm really not sure why event coordinators cannot cater for their needs?

It would be nice to see a clean bathroom at any music or outdoor festival.

Not seen one yet, so perhaps the problem is not specific for women on their periods but rather just that there are not enough ablution facilities or cleaning crew at these types of events?

This is what I agree it comes down to..

They don't need a special place.. just a clean place.. so organizers either add more facilities or more cleaning crews cleaning more often..
