Doesn't look like there's really that much of a discount. Seems like +- 12 to 15 %
@Hisense SAYes what I posted is latest 2019, what I gave you(2018) was at the time the only firmware that manifested dstv now in the background. I got that fixed. All versions now manifest.
Soon OTA should also be finished and your A6100's will update automatically and no more asking for firmware. Will release this systematically to the public.
In the meantime, I try to help where I can.
Hi, is there any firmware update newer than this? My TV model is 43A6100UW. Thanks

I get that also but it does not show if the source is Dolby Vision or HDR....
Dolby Vision if the spec sheets posted is correct.

Q8600 lack of DOLBY VISION / HDR detection on screen POP-UP
Netflix source using built in Netflix app - updated.
TV switches to DOLBY VISION correctly found by going to PICTURE settings on "GEAR" button.
INFO button displays
A simply POP UP icon to display source for like 0.5 second would be great like the tv shows DOLBY ATMOS below
But this source detection should work independently from apps and across all inputs. (Youtube app also does not show)

I think i will be moving over to Samsung and one of the latest models. MY household just has apple and to cast to a Hisense is impossible.
Its been fun having the Hisense but unfortunately just one flaw turns me away from the brand.

What issue do you have? Does it have an error message?
No issue, just that the anycast function only works with android and not with Apple devices. Hence the move over to one of the Samsung 2019 models as it supports Airplay and my wife and i have iphones and macbooks. Would like to eliminate the hdmi cable from being used when casting to a tv.
Remember back in the day when I had a docking station for my iphone 3G connected to TV to watch videos. At the time thought it was the dogs danglies, at least it had a remote. Having an HDMI cable connected to a TV to watch a movie off a device sounds outright archaic in this day and age.

Make sure your TV is on the same WiFi. Apple seems to have an issue with casting from 5GHZ network while the TV is on 2.4GHZ. You’ll notice the same issue with a Chromecast.
