[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Guys I am trying to get the Amazon Prime app to work on my Hisense TV and it seems by updating to the new firmware it is poosible, however I also have it wallmounted which makes access to the USB port very difficult. Any other way I'm able to update the firmware? I have the 65 inch 6100 model. I've seen people say to change the location, but I only get African countries as options to change the location to, which doesn't seem to give me the ability to update the firmware to the latest version.
 
With tears in my eye, please explain why anyone mounts a device in such a way that restricts access to input ports??
The functionality of a device should never be compromised by silly mounting! Does no one think things through anymore??

If you're referring to my post, it's a simple wall mount, and I prefer close to flush to the wall, that's all.

Until TV manufacturers and mount manufacturers come together to form some sort of standard to allow ports not to be blocked, this will always be an issue..

It's not practical for end users to think of nifty and witty ways to modify their mounting in some way, to not block access to ports..
 
Very impressed with Hisense SA's response! I have been in PM contact. Hisense SA has confirmed the TV does not need an sw upgrade, and that the TV is only equipped with an RF Analogue tuner.

Mine is also actually quite hard to get to, it's because the mount is relatively flush, the ports are way back in the centre of the screen on the side. Though I've got a little leeway to move the screen from the wall it's not always easy.

Please try the below link to the 65A6100 firmware. Load it onto an empty, FAT32 formatted USB and choose update from usb in your support menu.

After spending thousands buying a TV and a mount, no one is going to add another thousand just to extend all they ports they may be using..
