Thanks for the update.

I tried it, but TV is not picking it up. Tried formattting to fat32 as well. Any advise would be appreciated
Someone also mentioned you need to make sure that all hidden system directories Windows place on the USB is deleted. There may also be one that's not a normal hidden directory and require selecting to show System Files and Directories (or something like that) in Settings/Properties.

Don't know if what the video portrays is supported in our country, but nonetheless for those wondering what VIDAA 3.0 has:

Bought my Folks the 55A6500. Unfortunately gave endless troubles in terms of WiFi, Apps, etc (losing signal, resetting Apps so they had to re-enter details all the time). Got a replacement, and same issues. Had to refund and get another brand unfortunately. Have the 32" Smart TV at home for the kids, and have the same problems with connectivity. Personally not sold on the Brand anymore.

Sorry, forgot to mention you need to continue to extract the file until it a *.bin.

I extracted it to the bin file and only copied the .bin

I tried all the USB ports as well. Could it be the file name?
Or should I follow specific process to do firmware update and not through menu`s?

I saw that, I did delete the directory using command line and didnt work for me.

Did you update the firmware as suggested on this forum? Seems the first firmwares released have issues. As I've never had to re-enter details for apps or my wifi on my N5000.

You might have the wrong firmware for your TV. That's why we require your current firmware version to determine the revision of your TV.

Thank you for the download link for the 55A6500uw software Mr Hisense.

Can you just tell me how big the Zip file is? I downloaded about 1.2gb on my mobile data but had to stop it as I ran out of data.

And secondly, is this the correct version software to download if my old version is as below:

V0000.01.00a.I0625

Extended Version: I0625

Kind Regards
