[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Hi
So I'm in the market for a new Hisense and I see they have a lot of models. I'm looking for something around 50"-55". I see they have the A6000, B8000, B7000 series in most stores. Which one from the models should I purchase from?

You can now buy from Takealot and they will deliver. Took 2 days from date of purchase and that was this week.

Hi guys,

I've been looking through this thread.

From the looks of the things, the Hisense B8000 is the way to go in terms of image quality when compared to the Samsung RU7100.

Up until now I've been keen on either the B8000 or the Samsung Ru7100 as they seem to be similarly priced.

I've been using a Chromecast with an old TV and cast everything that we watch.

I noticed when using someone's else's Samsung TV that it's really easy to cast to the TV with my Galaxy S9 plus and with the two devices both being Samsung, things worked quite seamlessly.

How is the operating system on Hisense TVs?

Any other suggestions of other models? I've been looking at spending R12K but would consider up to R15k.

Edit: I'm looking at 65 inch Tvs.

Hisense uses VIDAA which sucks, Android TV is the way to go.

@rodders5000 Hisense does offer extremely good value for money, they never really could get the wireless intergration right though, if you're buying a new TV then I don't think you need to worry about this but make sure you have Chromecast/Android TV and call it a day, or buy the Hisense and a smart box as software for TV's aren't always kept up to date
