[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Just flick your finger on the screen, If it smears or flickers then it is VA, if nothing happens then it is ADS.
It doesn't flicker.

How do you know the U7H is ADS panel?
Also forgot to mention, the specs on the Hisense website for for 55" and 75" U7H list them as having ADS panels. For some reason the specs for the 65" are missing but it would most likely use the same ADS type panel.

The 85" version however has a high native contrast ration from the specs. That most probably has a VA Panel. ( 55" and 75" U7H native contrast is 1200 : 1 , while the 85" U7H is 4000 : 1 )

Seriously considering the 55-inch Hisense A8H instead of the LG CS 55-inch OLED, as a TV for 9 months to then upgrade to a nicer OLED from Samsung/LG around Black Friday when newer models will be available. How are people finding the Hisense OLEDs?

Have no complaints

There should be a drinking game when for whenever someone says “brightness” in relation to OLED

This one has 800nits which is more then a few leds out there
800nits on a 10% window size or smaller, which is only for small highlights HDR content.

Full screen brightness for OLEDs is way way lower, like below 250nits at best.

A8H is still more than bright enough for a bright room. As seen below, I have tonnes of direct and indirect light.

Here’s the reflection I’ll be dealing with (one of three angles). Curtains open:

I don’t run my QLED very bright.

Wish me luck!

Seems comparable to the ULED I replaced it with.

Current TV is a Hisense U8G and I was wondering if the Vidaa OS comes with a built-in web browser.
I couldn't find anywhere when I was looking but maybe I wasn't looking in the right area or I might have to download it.

What are the differences between the 55-inch A8H and 55-inch A8G?

A8H is 120Hz.

So ordered the 55 A8G OLED today - any tips and recommended picture settings I should try, to get the most out of it?
