Petition started to remove judge over rape comments

lol at some people here:
If someone says "there is a culture of rape among men" or "South African men are rapists" (ala Charlize), there is a big outcry here and all the men on myBB are like "I'm not a rapist", "not all men rape", bla bla bla.
But if someone says "there is a culture of rape among black men" or "Black men are rapists" (ala Judge Jansen) suddenly "it's their culture", "face the truth" and "have you seen the rape stats", bla bla bla
No, no racism here :wtf:

Exact same thing that happened with the white racism cases in the racism thread. How odd.

Even if true, that doesn't mean it's part of 'black culture' (no such thing) or that all black men are rapists.

The vast majority of pedophiles in Europe and America are white males so I suppose that means that pedophilia is part of white culture and all white men molest children?
It is true. If you took the time to read what i wrote then you would see that I said that there are aspects of african culture that contribute to the problem. These combined with the socio economic issues make the possibility of a black male comitting rape higher than that of other races.

As for you comment on pedo, nice try but good luck in finding any cultural aspects that predispose white men to that. I wont mention a specific aids cure that is rather prevelent in SA

The problem as you pointed out are that there is a large mix of cultures under the heading black and there is never any futher investigation beyond that to pinpoint tge prevelance of rape within specific groups

I noticed that the news don't call the child rapist a pedo, but a child rapist is a pedo by definition.

So, is pedophile a problem in the black culture?

I am not so sure I would brand it as paedophilia, given what little knowledge I have of it.. I have no idea what I would call it though... its obviously complicated.

Ok, then how many children are subjected to paedophilia since you say yes to my question..

Given that the backdrop to the point is that rape stats stand at around 25% - 33% of women in this country.

LOL did you notice how you suddenly became defensive now that paedophilia was mentioned in relation to white and yet to adopt an opposite stance when rape is mentioned in relation to black. Another thread, another hypocrite!

So basically you have no ideas of the numbers or anything of the sort and were just throwing it into the argument to try and muddy the waters.

Why exactly don't you want to discuss this topic, even though it is a very distasteful topic to debate?

What are the pedophilia statistics like between white and black people? Should we then say it is a part of your culture? Of course not?
I just had a quick look look an the problem here seems to be that nobody has really investigated the correlation between sexual abuse and the culture of those involved.
But there again there are plenty of cases where african males sexually abuse children.

The main issue her should not be who is worse but rather identifying and removing the contributing factors. Having responded to more rapes than i care to remember i have no interest beyond that of putting a stop to the scourge be it black white or green men

Well-known activist Gillian Schutte posted excerpts of written exchanges with Jansen on Saturday and Sunday,

I would like to see the complete exchange between Schutte and Jansen to see whether indeed there was a context that has been excluded.

I don't know Jansen but Schutte has a decidedly arrogant and self-righteous agenda of promoting the demand for white guilt.

I sometimes wonder whether she thinks that because she has a black partner that she is above all of us 'guilty' whiteys.

I dont have to be defensive, it does occur but the prevelance suggests a cultural devience rather than a cultural norm within both black and white culture.
The fact that it occurs just as much in the black community as compared to the white invalidates your comment

actually you will except it will be more specific ie your chav or poor white culture. Traveler/gypsey culture. It will also manifest more on a country of origen basis

Exactly my point, you won't hear anyone claiming White culture contributes to rape in UK despite vast majority of sexual offenders being White. My bet is, it has little to do with White culture.

I would personally say it has more to do with a sub culture...

And the same applies to this situation, but the sub culture may be more than just a smallish group of people, it may be a significant group of people. Also as R/SGT has said, there are aspects of the Zulu/Xhosa culture that may make the incidence of rape more prevalent given certain socio-economic factors.

the main reason you wont hear it is because it is a majority white country, therefore any cultural considerations will manifest according to social, status, place of birth, place of residence, religon etc. You wont find a similar breakdown in SA as it would be deemed racist to say that ie xhosa men offend in greater numbers than say venda men. So we just say black and you all get tared with the rapist brush.

The stats show that the prevelance of rape is higher in black communities than white indian or coloured even if you take into account population numbers. It is a socio/economic problem.

Where exactly did you find the "stats" and who compiled it? Would like to read it. It will broaden my knowledge.

Are you even listening to what you saying ?, you starting to sound gibberish.

What would you say are aspects of the White culture that make incidence of rape more prevalent given certain socio-economic factors?

My guess is, a variety of factors are behind the root cause of sexual assault behaviors around the world. I do not think whites/blacks culture endorses rape. If that was the case then rape would be generally acceptable and not condoned by whites/blacks.
