One of the few pets I wouldnt mind that are made illegal. These disgusting animals appear to be penis extensions for most people that own them. They amount of animals they slaughter is disgusting.

I saw the remains of what happened to a young happy spaniel after two of these beasts (that are bred to be vicious and kill) did. They ripped it to shreds and started eating the poor lil dog alive.

I really think owners of these dogs should go to jail if their animals attack another. They choose a killer dog breed and look all startled when their beasts attack another animal.

A bunch of my friends have them, but that doesnt change my opinion. I despise pitbulls :mad:

The sad thing is that humans bred them to be what they are, yet people blame the pitbull in most cases and not the neanderthals who breed and train them.

Many pitbulls have been saved from the heinous fighting rings and have been successfully rehabilitated to be amazing family pets, but one can never be too careful. They need to go to homes that know the breed VERY well.

Due to limited time I cannot expand on this as I have to run out, but will post in more detail about the breed a little later.
 
they are very scary indeed !

owners of the dogs need to take them to puppy school and make sure its behaviour is in check ! my uncle has one and it's as friendly as a maltese. he loves to play even with the other dogs my uncle has, which include a rotwiler (sp) and a miniture maltsese (excuse the spelling) so really their behaviour is also their owners responsibilty!

oh i forgot to mention that his a usless guard dog because he'll probably
wanna play fetch with any would be intruders :p
he loves playing with anyone!
 
It is how the owners train them, my sisters g/f has the sweest most loving pitbull, it sleeps in the bed and plays with this smaller funny looking dog, not sure it's name.

If you bring up a dog to kill you will have problems and owners of these animals give them a very bad name. You should dispise the people who train them to kill not the breed of dog if you ask me.

I have a white Alsatian type dog and he is very aggressive towards anyone who does not live here but at no point do i think he would maul anything but if i trained him from a puppy to be a killer i can assure you he would have attacked and mauled someone by now, should i hate the breed or myself for doing that? Many breeds have the ability to be aggressive and killers but if from a puppy you do not train them this way they will not become killers.

I grew up around dogs and am fine with any size, shape, breed etc - EXCEPT pitbulls. There is something about them that makes me edgy. They seem to have a weird personality. They remind me of sharks.

A mate once tried to breed them. He had a little of about 6 he was keeping in an old servant quarters and one day a few of the puppies got into a fight. They where about 2 months old at the time. The place looked like a blood bath by the time he got to it. Really freaky.

How can you just say these dogs should be removed from the earth ? Have you ever owned one....

Seriously, learn more about the dogs before you post **** like this. The Dogs that have attacked kids where all trained dogs. And if that is the case as to why you hate them because they bite kids, then you need to remove all forms of dog from the earth. Start with Boerbulls and Rottweilers then

Saw something on one of those judge programs where the owner of 3 pitbulls was "surprised" when who three "gentle well behave" pitbulls ripped someone elses animal to shreds. She said (despite loads of evidence), that they were gentle dogs so could not be hers.

Err... so you have to train the dog bred for killing not to kill? thats not really a good endorsement in my eyes.
 
@Pitbull - 'woooosaaaaah' , Bad Boys II.

They make me nervous. No other breeds do. Even before I know it's a pitbull I get a bad vibe from them. Just my personal experience.

Dogs fight, it happens. It's like saying my kid should be culled because he attacked your kid at a school ground. All dogs fight, damn even cats fight. So go ahead and kill all the animals on earth then who defend their territory :rolleyes: It's nature you should be pissed at, not the animals or a said bread there of.

Dogs are not bred for killing, they are turned into killers, all these stories you hear about this gentle pitbull suddenly attacked and mauled people is utter rubbish, most of the time you will find there was either training or the people that got mauled where giving the dog trouble.

Pitbulls are bred for killing but when you get a tiny 4 week old pitbull i can assure you give it a loving stable home and you will have a loving stable dog, teach it to attack and teach it to kill and you will have the most awesome killing machine known to the dog world. Once trained they are killing machines and will not stop and will maul you and destroy you without doubt but that is not the way they would react in a warm loving home.

Go learn more about the dogs, you are clearly basing your assumptions about the dog on what ever you choose to be valid.
