Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

Is that a tiling trowel? I do respect using whatever is sort of fit for purpose and lying around but is it worth cutting up?
They're R60 at checkers. I made a few more modifications and it works much better and doesn't sound the alarm.

Hol'up this is Milex pizza right? Dough recipe please? I hope I haven't asked before
I'll share the recipe when I'm done tweaking it.

Gozney available in SA. Pricey, as expected.
I'd really like a RoccBox. The domes are overkill for me.

We had a stint of crappy pizza dough a while back

It was tearing apart

After changing filters on the RO and eliminating everything the only thing left was the salt

The one time i grabbed PnP salt instead of cerebos we normally use

Swopped it out and our sourdough/pizza was back to normal, the one item we could not think could be the cause

I'd be happy with an Arc.

Good comparison video, Roccbox vs Arc.
Hopefully they decide to add the Roccbox to their SA lineup. In the meantime I'll stick with my Milex. That was the best R4k I spent last year... and the most frustrating.

I'm on the same page.

Milex doing duty here in a few hours. :)

Had a pizza from Smack Pizza (Rivonia) - Buzz Kill, was really good
Me too. New linksfield branch. First time I've had Smack. Heard a lot about them. Very good pie. A little pricey but worth it.

It took a while to dial everything in to get to the point where I was getting consistently decent results.

I had to take a break for a while from the Milex and made sheet and pan pizzas that my family was actually keen to eat.
That's fair, also many different styles of pizza are valid. Some of my best family pizza memories are sheet pan Siciliana pizzas made by my dad growing up ultra thin and crispy very different from the Neapolitan style that I'm chasing nowadays

Don't get me wrong - I like pan/sheer pizza (the way I do it). It was just a little discouraging abandoning the Milex, almost earning an I told you so in the process from my wife.

For those in Centurion, do yourself a favour and visit Village Bistro for their pizzas!

What style of pizza do they make? And how is their Melanzane? Haven't been to an Italian restaurant in gauteng yet.
