Made my first pizza ever tonight on our new Ooni gas oven. Bought the dough parbaked from doughboys in capetown as I didn’t want to risk a charred brick on my first attempt lol. Edges were a bit charred but the pizza was amazing. Light and crispy and full of flavour. Hmmmm

I can manage half of a large pizza myself. Maybe 3/4 if I am really hungry.
An entire large pizza with toppings is too much.
If by myself half for dinner, half for breakfast/lunch the next day.

Bacon, banana and pineapple is even better with Peppadew. The riper & sweeter the ‘sphincter’ the better.
Stumbled upon another local gas oven option, not yet launched but taking pre-orders. Looks decent.
