Please do a MyBroadband speed test on Rain

Good morning Guys. I am having a huge challenge with Rain, I have upgraded from R250 to R479 package 3 months but iyo since i was on the new package my speeds have been terrible at times i wouldn't even load a webpage.

I am based in Katlehong, Ndlanzi Section and have about 3 towers (Sali, Mavimbela and Mokoena) which are between 0.61km to 0.90km away from me. But from time to time i get a very bad connection.
I am using a Huawei B315 Router.

But i see a lot of people are indicating that i should downgrade to R250 then i will get the best connection, so i would like to find out if this is true.

Can you kindly assist me to ascertain the reasons for this before i decide on downgrading.

Below is the screenshot of the speed test that i took this morning and averagely that's the speed i am getting day to day at times even lower.

Hi , Please PM me your email address linked to your rain account

Well I am still awaiting some type of feedback, I have sent you a PM Sunday afternoon.

My Upload speed has improved but I have not changed the location. Antenna settings or anything. :)

I'm considering the 24/7 LTE package - is the sim fixed to a tower?

Not fixed to a tower can be used in a mifi and can travel with it. As long as you have Rain coverage it will work. Speeds are hard capped at a max of 10Mbps.

I'm currently getting terrible speeds on my pay as you use sim (1-2mbps) being used at my dad's place. Was wondering then if the 24/7 package would be any different considering the nearest tower is 400m away. But i gather then that it won't be an improvement. @ rain_mobile can you comment?

Hi, the sims are not fixed to a tower as they are mobile, what i can do for you is investigate why you getting the speeds you are getting and we can take it from there, please PM me your email address so that i can investigate.
