Please explain dual sim advantages

I have a prepaid SIM in slot 1 and a R99 10gb contact with Telkom in slot 2. Works great!

Keep in mind that some phones only allow for a second sim OR a micro SD card. Not both.
I have a dual SIM Galaxy A71 from Telkom with 2 Nano SIMs and still have space to fit a memory card.I've always been a fan of dual SIM phones since my P8 lite...at some point I even had a phone that could fit 4 SIMs...AG 4oza I think it was.

The SIMs are on different networks. One SIM is for work and the other is my personal number.I use both SIMs for calls and text and use the Telkom one for data when I'm out and about.Usually connect to Wi-Fi when am at home.

Setting up is simple,I've set up my device to always ask me which SIM to use when calling or texting. You just need to remember which SIM is 1 and which is 2.You can even rename them to I.e)SIM 1 to Personal SIM 2 to Business or Calls or Data whatever flies with you.

I have the typical Dual SIM scenario on my phone. One SIM for calling, and one SIM for data. The difference in my case is both are on the same Talkom Mobile network. The reason is they're on 2 different Tarriff Plans, one favours talk time, and the other Data rates.
