I use rechargeable batteries but my mouse eats them have to change them so often it's annoying
 
What. I'm using 2 2700mah aa batteries and it lasts less than a week.

Is there something wrong with my mouse ?

I even have it in power saving mode

Absolutely yes or those batteries, the G305 with a single AA lithium last 6-8 months.

You see, rechargeable batteries are 1.2V while normal batteries are 1.5V

This is probably why.
 
There are a couple to choose from. Do proper research.

  • Syrian Hamster.
  • Dwarf Hamster.
  • Chinese Hamster.
  • Mongolian Gerbil.
  • Fancy Mouse.
  • Common Rat.
  • Guinea Pig.
  • Chinchilla.

Most of them the warranty expires after 3 years.
 
Just get something basic.

The extra weight, touchbars, etc I always found useless for FPS gaming, let alone other. The hero scroll wheel doesnt appeal to me. Honestly its clunky and just gimicky. Which its why its not a proper gaming mouse for them.

Just decide cordless or not. I use the Pro X from Logitech, but my kids like MX Anywhere 3. Also a decent mousepad. Steelseries are great.

What I suggest you go into the game store and try the differnt mice and keyboards, to see what you like. It put me so off the G502 it wasnt funny. The clickwheel doesnt feel right. Logitech always made smooth and fast clickwheels, and the more plasticky doesnt feel grippy. Some may love it. I dont.

But then I use the MX keys keyboard which isnt as fast for gaming, but its pretty decent. I like the laptop style keys compared to a more older clunky keyboard setup like the gaming keyboards.

You have to visit a few shops and see what you like best, then decide from there. Kinda like harry potter style wands. Best to visit Olivander (Incredible, computer mania, etc) and see which feels best.

Look if you are the best with Farcry in the world and youre a professional gamer, then go corded or so, but in all honesty for most a clean uncluttered desk is generally nicer, where you dont have tons of cables running all over.

There are some great cordless options out there.
 
I swear by my wireless Logitech G703. Plug in to recharge over USB about once a week, no fiddling with batteries.

I agree with this statement.

That infinity scroll feature is amazing when it comes to productivity and web-browsing. But for gaming it is annoying and you have to turn it off.

I never had clicking issues with Logitech, but I did have scrollwheel issues with my G403. If I scroll down, it would every now and then first scroll up a fraction before scrolling down. My MX Master 3, original MX Master (now belongs to the wife), G502 and the original 2003 MX 500 all still work perfectly. The MX 500 did need some super glue repairs due to my aggressive clicker friend, but still works.

Some other Razer - the mouse cursor would drift. Replaced with another razer under warranty.

Great productivity mouse - just not for gaming. You will definitely feel the lag in-game.

It's fine I think. I've "accidentally" played a bit with it and it was fine. It has 4000dpi, which is more than I need anyway. It's only the wireless thing which I don't really trust for fast paced games.
