My only request is that Afrihost just gives us more of everything they do!?!

Having been an MWeb & TelkomInternet client, & now on Capped Afrihost ADSL, there is nothing that would make me go back.

If they could offer me 15gb for less than R190 i would move my main account to them. But for now I am happy with my 1gb capped account + 2 free gbs per month.

I have a 386kbps uncapped account with them.

I voted Good. I am getting what I paid for, but it is slightly better than what I expected.

The performance has been ok for what it is. I have a 4mb line and it sometimes would run full speed when downloading. But that rarely happens. Not too sure about the latency.

I can't comment on the support as I have not had to contact them for help. Although I love the clientzone!

I think the product is fairly price.

Overall satisfaction, I would say 7/10.

Performance - Excellent
ADSL - Excellent
Value for Money - Excellent
Overall Satisfaction - Mostly
How they can improve - They have no specialised support for larger corporate customers. The person who has a R 29.00 per month ADSL account is treated the same as someone that spends several thousand rands per month.

Performance
OUTSTANDING, beats the speed of light in South African broadband terms. Very happy.
Support
wow,nuff sed'
Value for money
i actually love to pay my afrihost bills :D

Performance: consistently good
Support: Never used their support, which I suppose is a good thing in itself
Value for money: outstanding seeing as how I am using their free 1 gig. top up 2 for 1 is also great
Overall satisfaction: highly satisfied, recommended;

Performance (speed and latency):
Speed is always fine and latency is <20 :D

Support:
Always quick when I need it (maybe once every 12-18 months)

Value for money:
Very good - hopefully with the new cables landing they stop the work hours slow down (yes I am on uncapped)

Overall satisfaction:
Satisfied overall - I just want Telkom to drop the analog line on their side and upgrade my exchange to 10mb (currently only get 6mb)

I spend a lot with them and I am thoroughly impressed in every respect. Both with the ADSL (capped and uncapped) and dedicated hosting solutions.

My only suggestion is the introduction of a local-only ADSL offering. Yes, I know their full service is as cheap as most other providers' local-only offerings anyway, but local only-does have benefits in terms of VPN and VoIP use and people like to compare apples with apples.

Area of improvement: reduce the cost of ADSL line rental. Currently it is just below Telkom's rates, while other ISPs have much better pricing. Possibly do away with the poor uncapped accounts, or try to do what MWEB has done rio free the web

Otherwise Afrihost is excellent, my favourite ISP for capped ADSL.
Thank you for igniting the broadband revolution.

Performance: 4MB capped which was previously dropped from 10MB by Telkom. No complaints.

Support: Call centre used to be excellent. Deteriorated over past few months. They don't react to poor rating on SMS anymore. Clientzone and email support excellent.

Value for money: Best in SA

Overall satisfaction: Good. Pity about call centre.

I have a 30 GB capped account with Afrihost for quite some time now.

Performance: Great. I play Aion online and my ping times in game is less than 200 Ms which is great in South African context for MMOs. Email send receive always works as opposed to Axxess where I had issues in the past. Browsing is fine including international browsing where we might have some issues. My downloads are not throttled or managed in any way, which I require.

Support: I had issues with Telkom at my local exchange. Did not game any consistent speeds on my line. Afrihost assisted me to troubleshoot and find the problem. This was excellent - I took up the issue with Telkom and I now have a consistent and stable line with no issues. Thanks Afrihost!

Value for Money: The best! I am not interested in an uncapped service. Not working for me! The Afrihost capped service offering is fantastic. You get double the amount of data. Lets say you have a 30 GB account Afrihost gives you another 30 GB for free. What a sweet deal.

General feedback: The Afrihost support service is 24/7/365 as it should be. The internet holds now hours. Afrihost should keep the double data deal on capped accounts. Best value for money. If this changes I would had to shop around for better capped deals in the market place.

Performance
Great performance, We have 4X 10MB lines, an they can run at full speed without any limitations. (On a capped 200GB promotion)

Support
If we experience problems, like slow connectivity, the website status page is quickly updated to show they are attending. 10 out of 10.

Very good support everytime I've interacted with the call centre

Excellent. Enjoy the regular promotions and specials. It means they're constantly thinking of ways to offer better options than their competitors

Really not sure what extra they could do. I am really happy with them.
