1 Meg uncapped @ R296/pm

Always helpful support - 10/10
Line always up - 10/10
Line speed - I don't seem to get full speed all the time, would be nice to know if this was due to shaping - 7/10
Their website - does not show usage for uncapped which is annoying, otherwise it fine - 7/10
Latency - 9/10

All in all I am happy with the service.

Performance (speed and latency): No complaints, based in Cape Town and latency to IS gaming servers is consistently good, 10 Mbps line throughput is as expected.

Support: Never had a reason to engage with support, touch wood.

Value for money: As a capped user who consumes less than 15GB per month, their product offering suits me well.

Overall satisfaction: Great.

Axxess okay when not shaped but getting badly shaped lately to point gaming almost unplayable.

3 gig capped.Exelent service.if server is down connection back up within 5 min.low latency.
only problem, axxess grew alot but tech support takes long sometimes to answer phone.or i hang up after 10 minutes.
see posible problems in future in this regard.please keep up your exelent service and dont let this start to drag you down.so far it was nothing serious.but dont open the door for bad reputation.U CANNOT GET IT CLOSED AGAIN.
Thanks guys.

Performance: Never have any problem with speed or latency

Support: My problems were always solved within 10 minutes.

Value for money: Good range/options.

The only thing they could do (although this goes for all ISP's) is introduce a bigger capped account. Something like 40gigs at a reasonable price.

Like others in this thread, I would appreciate if Axxess would provide a way for me to get my actual bandwidth consumption in the Control Panel, or maybe even as a downloadable CSV file. I've been thinking about upgrading to a 4MB capped line for a while, but I can only do this if I know how much cap I'm gonna use on average.

performance (speed and latency) - 9/10. I generally get a solid 40KB/s any time, which is about the max for my 384k line. There are times when the service is unstable but that generally coincides with Seacom outages or routine Telkom "maintenance".

support - 10/10. I flashed my router's firmware which caused it to forget my saved ADSL password, which I also couldn't remember. Phoned Axxess support after 1am on Saturday night, call was answered almost immediately, password was SMS'd to me in minutes.

value for money - 10/10. R 196 for 384k uncapped is super value in the current broadband landscape in SA, no two ways about it.

I've been an Axxess customer for a number of years. The few times I've had to contact them, the support was pretty good!

When I first boarded the ADSL train I signed up with Openweb and Axxess so that I could compare speeds and service. I had major issues with Openweb and had to wait days after each payment for my account to be activated. Axxess, in the other hand, are prompt and efficient. Their speeds are also consistent. A feature that I really enjoy about using them is if the speeds suck, you can usually find an advisory on their landing page about what the problem is and the ETA on getting it sorted out. I also think their pricing is fair and market related.

In a country where good service is fast becoming the extreme, please don't ever change !

I've tried a number of ISPs' over the years. Axxess outperformed all of them to date. Speed is great and service always friendly and very efficient. Wish the same could be said of Telkom.
