Plumbago Estate Fibre - Openserve Help

Hi

Hope there is someone that can help me?
All the complexes/estates around our estate has fibre installed except for our estate. In January a project manager from Openserve confirmed that our fibre will be installed end of May 2017. Since he confirmed it we can't get hold of this person any more.

Currently I'm sending mails on a daily basis to Openserve with no replies.

Is there someone on the forum that can assist with getting the fibre installation installed in the estate. It does not have to be Openserve, we are willing to go with any fibre installer that provides open access to other service providers.

We install fibre into complexes, kindly email me your address on tammi@stsolutions.co.za and I will advise further.

Do you have any update on when Plumbago will go live.

Completed
-DFA link is installed and tested to Moreleta Plaza complex
-Fibres to the units completed and spliced inside the units

To be completed - and this has been the same status for the last two weeks
-E/GPon unit to be installed in fibre cabinet
-completion on splicing in the fibre cabinet for the units
-going live

I know that Sue-Marie said that we will be live by the 15th of Jun, but with the last work not being completed the deadline will be missed.

Do you have nay further updates?

The system tells me the DFA portion is in progress, and we have completed 95% of the fibre drops, so I would think mid June is still on track.

Hi Pinball Wizard

Do you have any update on the fibre at Plumbago, as per your previous comms site was supposed to go live on 15 June 2018. Since then it seems that no progress has been made. All ISPs still show that there is no fibre from SADV in our complex.

Any update on the fibre going live in Plumbago? When will the equipment be installed?

Any update on when Plumbago will go live? I see that there has still not been any equipment installed in the cabinet as well as any ONTs installed in the units.

We are not far from a year since this thread has started.

Hi,

Any new developments on this? 2 days past live date and still not live? call centre doesn't know whats going on either other than "it's suppose to be going live"

Sorry for being a pain, but as you can understand we have been waiting for some time now. I have also cancelled my ADSL based on the original feedback from Sue so don't have any connectivity at home.

Just to add some history to my query:

Site was due to go live @ 3 different dates already and already passing the latest date of 31/07. My unit was used as a pilot installation and it was found that site was not live as expected and after more in dept inspection some cables were found to be damaged. ONT was installed but not configured due to this.

To my understanding SADV Tech guys were on site and identified the issues and i'm not sure if they went as far as rectifying them. ISP reports this now as being escalated to DFA Till Today 03/08 site has not gone live. My ISP has marked my order as complete and will therefore start billing me.

I emailed SADV directly to try and find out more and haven't received any reply 36 hours later (Ticket# 10725).
