Poor p2p access - Telkom uncapped

Ever since their scheduled maintenance on the 4th of January 2013, p2p access all but non-existent between 6am & 12pm. Anyone experiencing the same?
 
downstorm (my personal fav) and other leech boxes, news servers/nzb, irc for certain types of shows :)

The work done was unrelated.

There are some known issues with P2P on uncapped, which should be resolved next month.

I have my own leech box setup and do direct HTTP downloads. I don't faf around with newsgroups or torrent downloads on my home line

Must be a coincidence, as I am sure, was the call I got last week from Telkom asking if I would like to downgrade to a lower speed connection :wtf:

Hope it gets resolved soon - strange that some subscribers not affected though...
 

Yes. I have tried different torrent software(even different pc with different os & different modem, etc!) - still poor :( Will wait for improvements next month as you previously stated...

Btw, a few of my neighbours on TI uncapped also getting poor torrent speeds. Just frustrating when others on TI uncapped(& MWEB uncapped) seem unaffected.

Exchange area? Have you all logged faults to complain? May help...

Quite sure not exchange(Malabar) related, MWEB subscribers on same exchange having no problems...

Logged fault, only reply was Telkom quoting their terms & conditions & stating that they consider the issue resolved :(
