Hi is anyone experiencing the following

1. Slow Browsing (mostly local and some websites require a refresh before page displays)
2. Random Disconnection (no internet - red light/no light on router)
3. High ping, slow downloads not really reaching 1.80 (2 MB Connection uncapped)

Couldn't think of more (Memory issues jo :erm:)

I just want to point out that I saw Telkom working on the "BOXES" :D

Hi Mroofie, send me a PM with your MWEb details and a trace route to a local and international site

2 - is probably Telkom related, upgrading their network - when I switch on my modem, 1/2 the time internet light is red, and need to do a reboot ;

3 - sign up for a free Vox, Gridhost, Axxess 1GB account, test downloads and compare - my downloads on various ISP's are somewhat over full line speed on a 2Mbps line (usually between 205 - 220 kbps). I've never used MWeb, so can't comment on your issue far as they may be concerned.

If you show us a traceroute we'll be able to see where your issues are coming in.

Just for fun - mine seemed to become increasingly bad ... using an Afrihost connection.
