These look better than the older gen River. LFP and I think it has UPS functionality. Only 1 year warranty though.

How do you guys pro long the Ecoflow portable unit lifespan

1) Use until totally cut off or a certain % before charging
2) Charging until 100% or less and keep plugged in
3) Only plug on AC when charging
4) Can you store it for time or keep charging every now and then
4) Any other tips do's and don't for the Ecoflow

I think you may struggle to find stock for the river pro extra battery, seems to be out of stock at many places already. I managed to get from wootware last week.

Saw something from the ecoflow reps on FB saying they're not bringing in more stock. Probably since the river 2 is arriving in just over a month.

They'll only get here in May so waiting to see what local prices will be.

Their US pricing has the delta and delta 2 at the same price so if they try to shaft us with a more expensive price they won't be seeing a cent from me.

Saw something from the ecoflow reps on FB saying they're not bringing in more stock. Probably since the river 2 is arriving in just over a month.

Also saw that and it's why I decided to buy the extra battery if I could find stock. The other factor was that the river 2 pro no longer have the extra battery option, so this was the cheapest way to double the capacity. Hopefully this set up will cover me for the next few years!

Depending on the pricing it might be better to wait for the Delta 2 to get here and pick one of them up and later expand it with an extended battery. That way you'll have 2KWh of power in LiFePO which should be the better option.

They'll only get here in May so waiting to see what local prices will be.

I have a feeling we're going to get absolutely fleeced by the price when the Delta 2 gets here. I doubt I'll be looking at R24k like the current version...the LiFePO batteries will most like push the cost beyond my reach, but let's see. I agree that opting out of getting the battery extension (River Pro) is probably the best way to go though.

1. Try not to let it go super flat. Say 15-20% left before turning off.
2. I try to pull it off 10% before full or if it's full, use some energy. It will actually self-discharge. These batteries don't enjoy being full.
3. Correct.
4. Not that this should concern us with daily blackouts lol but charge it once a month.
5. Try look after it but in the end it is going to die. I wouldn't stress about it too much if you are doing basics right.

I think you are a bit confused. This thread is about power stations and not UPS. Portable, mostly used for emergencies and camping.

Yes LS are emergencies. If you don't want to pony up for a complete off grid system or don't want a noisy generator one of these suckers may assist you in being able to function normally until you settle on a more permanent solution. For example, use your computers, routers, printers, maybe the occasional Nespresso, run the microwave, PS4, etc.

Absolutely. I just wanted to make it clear that these units are not suppose to be plugged in 24/7 to power TV's etc. I have a little Gizzu power (station/bank) for my laptop which I use during extended outages which comes in handy when needed.

I do believe some of the EcoFlows have some limited UPS capabilities, but I won't trust that.

Liking the BLUETTI eb3a option, but see Geewiz stock is 12 to 18 WEEKS away? That is 4 to 6 MONTHS

Can leave plugged in like proper UPS (but more versatile)..
