I feel having 2 plates is more useful imho.
 
Anyway, it's not a good idea to use your limited backup power to make coffee when there are other ways to boil water. You can't run your pc off a cadac bottle.

Yes of course. You keep your power storage for your PC, etc. For simple heat, you use gas. :)
 
yes, I guess gas can do the job - I have various gas options and have used them boiling water in a pot - maybe I should just get myself a mini kettle - probably makes more sense, as it takes about 28Wh to boil a cup of water, roughly what my laptop uses in an hour

We use a cooker top, a Cadac gas bottle with a whistling kettle. I can now also use my normal 2200W kettle with the Delta max.

We mostly try to boil the kettle before the power goes out and then we put in into a flask for later...

If it has 3000 cycles why does it only come with a 1 year warranty?

EcoFlow has 2 years. And AFAIK some of their new LFP models comes with a 5 year warranty overseas.

Id rather wait for the Delta 2 or spend a bit more and get the Bluetti Ac200max.

Assuming the Rand will tank and the prices of these will increase in time.
But in general people use that 'investment' statement in relation to consumable and tech items.

My old Mecer = MSW Great for TV PC and and
I need Pure Sine for my fridge, had no power at all yesterday and can run generator but the problem is during the week.

Last month I dumped a "ton" meat cause we had a week without power.
