mine is 6:46 ... seems like avg is taking 60% of that time .... wonder if I should uninstall it!!

My boot time is the same as yours, except I have 57 applications running. This is my work pc though, specs:
Intel i3 560 3.33Ghz
4.00GB (no clue what memory though)
32bit Windows 7 Professional
It's a new machine so it's pretty solid, It takes about 11 seconds from the boot screen to get into windows, and then the processes take the rest of the time.
@teraside, funny enough I have the same cpu as you at home, and the difference between this one and the i3 is insane. Like software runs so much faster and everything is smoother. I'm busy looking to upgrade my computer although that'll take a while. I've just ordered myself 2 x 2GB memory for the pc at home and a nice cpu cooler, so I can overclock it a bit more and see how it runs then.

Not when you are using Sata 3 1TB drivenah that's about average imo
I had it installed... saw what booted... what I could remove... did that uninstalled it... as with it, there was still a lag to start up the delayed programs
